Prior to investment in tooling, it is important, when possible, to test to required industry or regulatory standards that a product must meet.

Pre-compliance testing at this stage, with a prototype, also provides indications about the functionality and suitability of the design, and highlights refinements that may be required.

Pre-compliance testing
