Factory Selection and Audit

MotionTouch are highly experienced at factory selection. The benefits of using MotionTouch for factory selection are:

Selecting the correct Chinese factory for a particular production is a detailed process. At MotionTouch we carry out factory audits and mark suppliers based on the following criteria:

  • Equipment and Facilities
  • Quality Systems in use (as judged by FA covering 9 different items: General Information, Mould Manufacture and Repair, Injection Process, Assembly Process, Workshop/Package/Handling/Storage, Inspection/Test, Control of non-conforming product/Corrective & Preventive Action, Training/Wareness, Skill and Experience and Management Document and Record)
  • Certifications held
  • Ability, experience and size of engineering staff
  • Ability and experience of management team
  • References from other customers in western markets
  • Geographical locations
  • Experience dealing with export logistics
  • Chinese Export permits held

The system that we use follows the ISO9000. This factory inspection and audit process is led by our Chinese speaking quality and audit staff. Experience has shown us that only by managing the factory audit process with native Chinese staff can we ensure that this process is successful and the correct factory information is obtained.
